Taking place in Jakarta, 17 December 2018, the three main tea associations in the Asian continent, namely, the Indonesian Tea Marketing Association, The China Marketing Association\/China Tea Marketing Association; and the Indian Tea Association agreed to strengthen cooperation on sustainable tea standard in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Including, mutual recognition for three tea standards, namely Lestari Indonesia; Trinitea India; and China’s National Guide to Sustainable Tea, and information, experience and technology sharing to develop tea sector in their respective countries. Through this agreement, it is hoped that there will be an acceleration of the realization of sustainable tea practices and initiatives that contribute to environmental, economic and social improvements in Indonesia, China and India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
