Nearly everything we use to survive comes from nature, whether in raw or refined form, whether for agriculture or household needs.
We may not need to worry about abundant sunlight. Some resources such as bushes and insects may regenerate quickly. But on the other hand, a number of natural resources require a long process and take a long time to reform, for example large trees, several types of animals, also clean water and humus. Some are not even renewable anymore, for example fossils and their derivatives. Once used, they are forever gone.
Without insight into environmental sustainability, people tend to exploit natural resources and use them inefficiently. We continue to strive to promote the conservation and management of natural resources so that natural resources can be beneficial for life in the long term.
